Winery evaluation:
On the right bank of the Tagliamento River, just below the hills of Sequals, lies the Fernanda Cappello estate. With as many as 126 hectares of vineyards, it is among the largest estates in Friuli and is located in an area where the soils, composed of gravel and calcareous-dolomitic alluvial sediments, are well known for their strong suitability for viticulture. Since 1988, Fernanda has decided to devote herself entirely to viticulture to pursue her own passion and that of her father.
Yet another fine expression of dedication from a Friulian woman who founded a high-level enterprise, confirming the consistent quality of the production; the fair pricing represents an added value to the company’s wide range of offerings. The Pinot Grigio 24 presents refined floral notes of dahlia and calendula, followed by fruity tones of melon and quince. On the palate it is smooth, with citrus freshness, then it flows gracefully and finishes with a savory note. The Traminer Aromatico ’24 confirms itself among the best in its category.
