Tasting notes
On the nose, Prosecco Brut offers intense notes of green apple, ripe pear, citrus fruits such as lemon and grapefruit, and floral hints of jasmine and acacia, with a mineral and slightly bready background. On the palate, a lively acidity dominates, balanced by a delicate fruity sweetness, with flavors of crisp white fruit, orange zest, and a dry, savory finish. The creamy bubbles envelop the palate, leaving a clean and refreshing sensation.
Pairings
Its fresh softness makes it an extremely pleasant wine: it has become the quintessential “aperitif” worldwide and pairs well with a wide variety of appetizers and finger foods, but it is also enjoyable throughout the entire meal. It pairs with starters (fish tartare, eggs and savory pies, San Daniele ham), first courses (white fish pasta, pasta with vegetable sauce, wild herb soups), and especially main courses based on fish (steamed shellfish, raw fish, seafood, creamed cod), as well as fresh cheeses from local mountain dairies. Ideal with dry desserts.
